This is an application filed under section 482 of BNSS for granting anticipatory bail to the applicant in connection with New Capital Complex PS case No. 102 of 2024, registered under Sections 281/105 of BNS and Sections 184/187 of the MV Act. After perusal of the case record, available as on today, in my considered view, this is not the stage to grant bail to the applicant. However, it is directed that the applicant shall surrender before the learned Elaka Magistrate on 21.02.2025 at 10.30 a.m. Meanwhile, the applicant shall campaign against the reckless and negligent driving in the following areas viz. North Gate, RMS Chowmuhani, Capital Complex junction, Motorstand area and Nagerjala area from 9.30 am to 11.30 a.m. and thereafter from 4.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. The Officer-in-Charge of East Agartala PS, West Agartala PS and NCC PS shall monitor the campaigning. Till 10.30 am of 21.02.2025, the applicant shall not be arrested. The Officer-in-Charge of the concerned police stations shall furnish report as regards the campaigning undertaken by the applicant to the court of learned Elaka Magistrate on 21.02.2025. Learned Elaka Magistrate after perusal of the report may consider the bail application. With the following observations and directions, the instant bail application stands disposed.
