In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for direction to the respondents to grant petitioner the benefit of assured career progression scheme on completion of 8-6-24-32 years of regular service with arrears alongwith interest @ 18% per annum from the date of its accrual till actual realization. It has also been prayed that the respondents may also be directed to refund an amount of Rs.64,726/- which was recovered illegally from the salary of the petitioner while refixing his pay vide order dated 10.06.2016 (Annexure P-4). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction be given to respondent No.3 to decide the representation dated 03.02.2025 (Annexure P-8), by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner.
