District Magistrate) under Section 18 of Arms Act has been filed before the respondent No.2/Commissioner, Gorakhpur Mandal, Gorakhpur. 2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 3. Learned Standing Counsel argued that the respondent No.2/Commissioner, Gorakhpur Mandal, Gorakhpur will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/Commissioner, Gorakhpur Mandal, Gorakhpur to decide the Appeal/Case No.1475 of 2019 strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy before the respondent No.2 but without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
