Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:70069 Court No. - 4 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 5854 of 2025 Petitioner :- Karan Singh Chauhan Respondent :- The State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Irfan Ahmad Malik Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. Heard Sri Irfan Ahmad Malik, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. By means of this petiton filed under Article 226, petitioner has challenged the order of transfer dated 22nd April, 2025 insofar as his name is concerned occurring at serial No.- 11. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner had earlier approached this Court for allotment of official accommodation and that is why he has been transferred. Learned Standing Counsel on the contrary submits that petitioner has been transferred by general order of transfer and therefore cannot be claimed as solitary case only for the reason that petitioner had earlier approached the Court for getting official accommodation. Looking to the transfer order, I find that the transfer order has been passed on administrative exigency as many as 406 persons have been transferred from one place to another place. In such above view of the matter, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter. However, liberty rests with the petitioner to make fresh representation against the transfer order dated 22th April, 2025 before the competent authority within two weeks from today and in the event such representation is made as directed herein above, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the respondent concerned within a further period of three weeks.
