GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the official respondents in conducting investigation and filing charge sheet in FIR No.87/2024 of P.S. Kumool II Town for the offences under Sec.379, 420 IPC, 156(3) Cr.P.C., 120(b) R/w 34 IPC against the accused therein as illegal, arbitrary, and Violation of Principles of Natural justice and in violation of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondent No.4 to conduct investigation and file charge sheet against the accused in connection to FIR 2 No.87/2024 of P.S. Kumool II Town for the offences under Sec.379, 420 IPC, 156(3) Cr.P.C., 120(b) R/w 34 IPC” 2. Heard Sri K.Viswanatham, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.87 of 2024 and file a final report. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
