Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toPleased to issue a Writ, Order, or Direction, more particularly in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents more specifically, the 2nd respondent in trying to demolition of my house, situated at Door No.4-117, Plot No. 18, Survey No. 1B/2C, Basinikonda Village, Madanapalle Mandal, Chittoor District (now Annamayya District), without paying full compensation, as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of the fundamental rights guaranteed under Articles 14, 19, and 300-A of the Constitution of India, and contrary to the express provisions of the National Highways Act,
1956. WRIT PETITION NO: 32538 OF 2025
ORDER:
1. This Writ Petition is filed declaring the action of the respondents, more specifically, trying to demolish the house bearing D.No.4-117, Plot No.18, Sy.No.1B/2C, Basinikonda Village, Madanapalle Mandal, Chittoor District (Now Annamayya District) without paying full compensation to the petitioner.
2. On 25.11.2025, the learned counsel for the respondents, on written instructions, has submitted that the compensation amount was fixed at Rs.6,40,988/- and the said amount was deposited in the petitioner’s bank account, bearing No.75690100010338, on 30.10.2025. The
learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to obtain instructions regarding the said deposit. The matter was accordingly adjourned.
3. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner has consented with regard to the deposit of the said amount. However, he has raised a dispute regarding the extent of the property. This Court is not inclined to entertain such a dispute, as the petitioner has an appropriate remedy available under the provisions of the Act.
4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition as well as the consent given by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of,

granting liberty to the petitioner to redress his grievance before the appropriate authority, if so advised. No costs.
