Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that on compassionate ground the petitioner was offered class IV post, however, she was not inclined Digitally signed by GOPAL SINGH Date: 2025.02.13 11:17:26 +0530
2 to take class IV post and as such she could not be given compassionate appointment.

Learned counsel appearing for the State/respondents submits that once the petitioner has denied to accept a class IV post on compassionate basis, she cannot be given compassionate appointment, upon which learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to take class IV post as a Peon. However, on query, learned counsel for the State/respondents, as per the instructions received from respondent No.3/Chief Medical and Health Officer, Raigarh, submits that class IV post is available and they will give class IV post to the petitioner if the petitioner approaches the respondents authorities. They will pass appropriate orders in respect of compassionate appointment of the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to approach the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Raigarh and in turn the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Raigarh will pass appropriate orders in respect of compassionate appointment of the petitioner on a class IV post.
3. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Sd/-
