JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: A. Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 23.09.2025 vide Annexure-C and D thereby issue necessary directions to rectify the clerical/typographical mistake by changing the applicants name as SMT. ASHWINI BHUJABALI PASANE, in-spite of BHUJABALI PASANE and accordingly permit the petitioner to appear for KSET exams which will be held on 02.11.2025, in the interest of justice and equity. B. Pass any other relief/reliefs, orders, directions, writ as deemed fit to grant, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The petitioner has applied for the KSET on the ground that she is eligible to take the said examination. The issue is not related to the conduct of the examination but arises from a typographical error in the petitioner’s full name at the time of filling the application. The petitioner immediately submitted a representation to the respondent seeking the necessary correction in the application, which was not considered. Surabhi Kulkarni appearing for the 2nd respondent submits on instructions that, if the petitioner appears with the relevant documents, manual correction of the application will be permitted. 4. In that light, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with a direction to the petitioner to appear before respondent No. 2, submit the necessary documents, and effect the correction in the application. 5. The respondent shall not cause any delay in accepting the corrected version of the application and shall take necessary steps in accordance with law. 6. Ordered accordingly.
