The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of the direction to the respondents to release the higher grade and pay the arrears thereof along with interest. 2. The learned counsel for the respondents has tendered the affidavit- in-reply, which is taken on record. 3. In the affidavit-in-reply, it is stated that the petitioner has been granted the higher pay scale and a copy of the pay slip for the month of March 2018 is also produced. 4. Since the grievance of the petitioner regarding the higher pay grade has been redressed, it is obvious that the prayer made in this petition would not survive for consideration. The petition is according DISPOSED OF as having become unnecessary. Rule is discharged. 5. If. however, the petitioner is dissatisfied about the inadequacy of the higher pay grade granted to him, it is always open for him to challenge the same before this Court.
