JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: a. “Issue necessary appropriate order or direction or writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no.1 to consider Annexure-E to meet the ends of justice. b. Any other relief that deems fit be kindly be ordered.” 2. The petitioner was appointed as a Librarian on 15.06.1990. The approval of the petitioner’s appointment, which was sought on 14.05.2024, is said to have been rejected. In two earlier writ petitions, the petitioner had secured an order directing consideration of his case for approval from the date of appointment. 3. It transpires that, on 19.05.2015, a communication was addressed to the petitioner stating that the approval, along with grant-in-aid benefits, was under consideration before the concerned authorities. In that light, I deem it appropriate to grant the relief sought by the petitioner. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:16060 WP No. 103011 of 2023 4. Respondent No.1 shall now consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, in strict consonance with law, and pass necessary orders thereon. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s claim. This petition is disposed of with a direction to consider the representation within an outer limit of four weeks in accordance with law from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
