The Chief Law Officer of NWKRTC, the respondent-workman and advocate for the petitioner and respondent are present. 2. After prolonged negotiation, the matter is settled and the advocates appearing for both the parties have filed a joint memo of settlement with following terms: “3. The Petitioner/Corporation has agreed to take the Respondent into service as a fresh as a trainee from the date of reporting, training will be for 1 year. 4. The Respondent to be placed on probation for a period of 2 years on completion of 1 year of training. 5. The Petitioner/Corporation agreed to take the Respondent into service as fresh as a trainee within four months from the date of receipt of this order. 6. The period of service rendered by the employee/trainee prior to the order of removal would not be considered for any purpose.” 3. In view of the joint memo of settlement, Writ Petition is disposed off. The order passed by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bagalkot in KID No.25/2017 3 dated 14.02.2024 is modified, as per the terms of compromise stated above.
