The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing a writ of mandamus commanding respondents no. 2 and 3 to pay compensation to the petitioner in respect of Arazi No. 84, area 0.737 hectare including the constructions existing over it on basis of award dated 08.04.2024 passed under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956. 3. It is submitted that the petitioner received a payment notice under Section 3-E of the Act dated 05.07.2024 and in pursuance thereof the petitioner submitted the necessary documents but compensation amount has not been released in his favour so far despite repeated representations. 4. Learned Standing Counsel very fairly states that in case there is no impediment, respondent no. 3 will take appropriate action in pursuance of the notice dated 05.07.2024 issued to the petitioner under Section 3-E of the Act. 5. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent no. 3 to take further action on basis of notice dated 05.07.2024 within four weeks from the date of communication of the instant order and in case, there is any impediment in releasing compensation in favour of the petitioner, he will pass a speaking order within same period and communicate the same to the petitioner.
