HARI BABU MAGULURI SC For SERP The Court made the following: :: ORDER :: The above contempt case has been filed complaining of the violation of the order dated 01.10.2024, passed in W.P.No.21823 of 2024. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing on either side. 3. The petitioner filed the aforementioned writ petition complaining about the interference of respondents 4 & 5 in discharging duties as Sangamitra (Village Organization Assistant) of Sri Sai Paraspara Sahaya Sahakara Savings Gramaikhya Sangham, Yadlapalli Village, Tsunduru Mandal, Bapatla District. 4. The said writ petition was disposed of on 01.10.2024, directing the respondents 4 & 5 not to interfere with the petitioner’s discharge of duties as VOA of the respective society. Page 3 of 4 5. In the affidavit filed in support of the contempt case, it was pleaded that the respondent authorities have violated the order dated 01.10.2024. 6. A counter-affidavit has been filed by respondent No.4. Along with the counter-affidavit, a resolution dated 20.07.2024 passed by the Gramaikhya Sangham has been annexed. A perusal of the resolution would indicate that one Smt. Lakshmi Tirupatamma was elected as the new VOA in the place of the petitioner. 7. Thus, as seen from the resolution annexed with the counter-affidavit, the petitioner was replaced with the new incumbent as VOA. Thus, the contention of the petitioner that the respondents are interfering with her discharge of duties is misplaced. Hence, this Court does not find any violation of the order 01.10.2024 passed in W.P.No.21823 of 2024, and the contempt case is liable to be dismissed. 8. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No order as to costs.
