JUSTICE AHANTHEM BIMOL SINGH O R D E R 14-02-2025 Heard Mr. L. Sevananda Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned DSGI assisted by Mr. N. Nongdamba, learned counsel appearing for the respondents. Both the counsel submitted that the parties have come to a mutual agreement that the authorities will be providing another alternative site to the petitioners for running their businesses and Mr. L. Sevananda Sharma, learned counsel also submitted that the petitioners have identified and agreed to the same. It has also been agreed that the petitioners will dismantle the structures of the present place of running their business within a period of one week from today and hand over the vacant possession of the place to the authorities. It is made clear that if the petitioners failed to deliver the vacant possession of the present place within a week, the authorities are at liberty to take appropriate action for eviction of the petitioners. Samarjit, learned DSGI also submitted that the monthly rent of the new place will be fixed at Rs. 5000/- per month plus electricity charges. The further term of agreement is that the petitioner will be allowed to carry on their business till the completion of the new tender process for allotting the shop sites. It is also one of the agreement that the authorities will allow all the petitioners to participate in the new tender process. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petitions as well as the connected applications are disposed of. JUDGE Devananda -2-
