JUSTICE S G PANDIT) This contempt petition is filed complaining disobedience of order dated 30.05.2024 passed in WP No.102265/2024, whereunder the learned Single Judge of this Court passed the following order: (i) The writ petition is allowed. (ii) The endorsement dated 23.03.2024 issued by respondent No.1 vide Annexure-E in respect of agricultural land bearing Sy.No.52/19 measuring 2 guntas 2 annas situated at Hattikolla, Dharwad, is hereby quashed. (iii) A writ of mandamus is issued to respondent No.1 to issue the order of conversion of the land belonging to the petitioners from agricultural to non-agricultural residential purpose as it amounts to deemed conversion. It shall be complied within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2. Notice was ordered to the accused on 11.11.2024. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:14963-DB CCC No. 100338 of 2024 3. Today, on appearance, the learned AGA files an affidavit of accused No.1-Deputy Commissioner, Dharwad enclosing OM dated 31.10.2025 converting the land in question for non-agricultural purpose. 4. Learned counsel for the complainant submits that there is compliance with the order passed by this Court. 5. On going through the affidavit of accused No.1 and OM dated 31.10.2025, we are also satisfied that there is substantial compliance of order passed by this Court.
