Munir, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. DP Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of regular bail to the petitioners, Nurul Islam, Maher Ali, Seikhbor Ali, who were arrested in connection with Bhelowguri P.S. Case No. 56/2024. 3. The informant has alleged in the FIR that they were evicted from Kaurihaki Char and Govt. allotted some lands in Tengaguri Char area. The informant has alleged the present petitioners, who were already in occupation of land in Tengaguri Char area, did not allow the people to occupy the land there. It is alleged that the petitioners have also threatened the informant and his associates 4. The petitioners have already completed 27 days in custody. 5. This Court is of the opinion that under the given circumstances of the case, the petitioners do not deserve to be detained in custody. Therefore, their bail application is allowed. 6. The petitioners, namely Nurul Islam, Mehar Ali, Seikhbor Ali, who were arrested in connection with Bhelowguri P.S. Case No. 56/2024. shall be released on bail of Rs. 20,000/- each with sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Morigaon.
