By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent Nos.2 to 4 to include his name in the voter list of village Panchayat Andhiyarkhor, Janpad Panchayat Nawagarh, District:Bemetara, C.G. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is resident of Andhiyarkhor, District:Bemetara and presently his name has been included in the voter list of Assembly Constituency No.70, Nawagarh by treating his address I.e 258, Kanchan Mata Chauk, Putpura, Nawagarh, Bemetara. He submits that though the EPIC Id has been generated in his name, but the petitioner’s request for change of his name from the voter list of Putpura to village Panchayat Andhiyarkhor has not been made by the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the State Election Commission/respondents appears on advance copy would submit that the name of the petitioner is presently included in the voter list of Putpura, however, the application filed by the petitioner to the Collector has 3 been received by the Collector on 16/01/2025, the same will be considered in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for both the parties and perused the pleadings made by the petitioner. 5. From perusal of voter identity card and application form for shifting of name of the petitioner from Putpura to Andhiyarkhor, it appears that the petitioner has already moved an application and the EPIC I.D. has been generated, hence, the Collector, Bemetara/respondent No.3 is directed to consider the application filed by the petitioner for change of his address as well as shifting of his name from Putpura to Andhiyarkhor in accordance with law. 6.
