The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in taking steps to effect promotions from the post of Principals to District Vocational Educational Officers (DVEO) based on the provisional integrated seniority list of Principals and Deputy DVEOs vide Rc.No.Policy/1233798/2020, dated 09.12.2024, without preparing final seniority list, as illegal and arbitrary. 2 3. The writ petition was listed on 20.01.2025. At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services would submit that, a final integrated seniority list of Principals/Dy.DVEOs of the State have been prepared duly considering the objections dated 23.12.2024. At the request of the learned Assistant Government Pleader to produce the same, the matter was adjourned to today. 4. Today, when the matter is listed today, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the authorities issued the final seniority list vide Rc.No.Policy/1233798/2020, dated 24.01.2025. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, in the considered opinion of this court, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final seniority list vide Rc.No.Policy/1233798/2020, dated 24.01.2025, if he is aggrieved.
