This writ petition has been filed for following relief:- "I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the respondent No. 2 Additional Commissioner Judicial (Ist) Varanasi Division Varanasi to decide the appeal/ Case no. 00163 of 2020(Computerized Cae No. C202014000000163 (Satish Chandra and anothers Vs. Chanika Prasad and others) Under Section 207 U.P. Revenue Code 2006 within stipulated period." 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that appeal is pending since 2020 and he prayed that same may be decided expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to respondent No. 2- Additional Commissioner Judicial (Ist) Varanasi Division Varanasi to consider and decide the appeal, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after ensuring service upon all the opposite parties, giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties provided there is no other legal impediment.
