The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 4.4.2024 passed by this Court in Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No. 1620 of 2023 whereby this Court had noted its expectation that the concerned Tehsildar shall decide the case in accordance with law. Nothing has been brought on record to show that the Tehsildar is willfully disobeying the order of this Court so as to occasion proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
