Heard the parties.
2. Petitioners have been made accused in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 77 of 2020 for the offences registered under sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 504, 506, 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Smt. S.S. Minz, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra.
3. On 01.08.2020 at 1.00 noon, Informant was ploughing his field when the petitioners along with co-accused persons came there and assaulted the Informant. However, he managed to escape from there and went to his house where he inquired about the whereabouts of his daughter. It is alleged that petitioners had carried the child and thrown her in a well, due to which, she died.
4. Mr. Ajit Kumar, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, submitted that there is no eyewitness to the occurrence. It was further submitted that it is beyond any stretch of imagination that anyone will
2. throw a child in the well. It was further submitted that no witness has supported the occurrence.
5. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail stands rejected.
