GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE D.RAMESH WRIT PETITION No.29799 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following relief: “…..to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondent No.2 in not considering the representation dated 17-07-2023 submitted by the petitioner for grant of D-patta in respect of the land in Survey No.6-1, SirivaramVillage, Lepakshi Mandal, Sri Sathya Sai District, as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and Consequently, direct the respondent Nos. 2 to 4, particularly Respondent No. 2, to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated 17-07-2023 for grant of D-patta in accordance with law….” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the petitioner’s possession is not in dispute, the respondents have not considered the application filed by the 4 petitioner on 17.07.2023 for grant of ryotwari patta based on the possession and the same is still pending with the respondents. 4. Considering the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the application filed by the petitioner on 17.07.2023 and if at all the petitioner is in possession and if she is entitled for any relief, the same may be considered and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
