No. DATE ORDER OFFICE NOTE 14.10.2025 VN, J I.A.No.2 of 2025 This application field to review the order dated 06.08.2025 passed in W.P.No.4877 of 2024 to set aside the charge memo dated 12.07.2022. Heard learned counsel for both the parties. W.P.No.4877 of 2024 is filed to declare the action of the 2nd Respondent in issuing the impugned G.O.Rt.No.1671, 1678, 1685, 1699 and 1722 Water Resource (Vig-III-2) Department, dated 12.07.2022 as illegal and arbitrary. It is stated by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that though this Court has observed in its order dated 06.08.2025 that charges of similar nature against 386 Officers in Water Resources Department have been set aside by the Government by G.O.Rt.No.100 dated 11.03.2025, but has not given directions to the Respondents to set aside the charges levelled against the Petitioner. 2 Learned Assistant Government Pleader Sri S.Raju does not dispute the fact that the charge against the 386 officials in Water Resources Department was dropped and the charge memo against the Petitioner is connected to the charges framed against the 386 Officers in the in Water Resources Department. In that view, this review application is allowed and the order dated 06.08.2025 is modified by inserting the following paragraph at paragraph 7 (ii) : (ii) Taking note of the fact that the charge against the 386 Officers in Water Resource Department have been dropped, the Respondents are directed to consider the case of the Petitioner for dropping of charges issued against the Petitioner vide G.O.Rt.No.1671, 1678, 1685, 1699 and 1722 Water Resource (Vig-III-2) Department dated 12.07.2022. Registry is directed to carry out the modification in the order dated 06.08.2025 and issue the modified copy of the order. _______ VN,J KLP 3
