The petitioner was appointed as a Cook on ad-hoc basis in the year 2000. It is his grievance that he is required to be accommodated on a vacant sanctioned post either as a Field Officer, Peon, Craft Teacher as he is ready and willing to perform anywhere in the State of Gujarat where 100% Grant-in- Aid school run under the Social Justice and Empowerment or any Uttar Buniyadi school. 2. The prayer sought for by the petitioner to accommodate him on any vacant sanctioned cannot be considered since any vacant post is to be filled up only in accordance with the Rules framed by the appropriate authorities. 3. It is needless to state that as and when advertisement is issued in respect of any vacant post, the petitioner would be at liberty to make an application and also plead that he has acquired necessary experience in that regard.
