The chargesheet discloses various acts of misconduct including financial irregularities and causing theft. These acts of misconduct may invite a major penalty in case the same are proved by the applicable standards of evidence in the enquiry proceedings. It has been submitted on behalf of the respondents that the enquiry is on foot. In this wake no cause for interference in the suspension order is made out. However, in the facts of this case, the respondents are directed to conclude the enquiry within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The petitioner shall cooperate in the enquiry proceedings. The petitioner claims that he is entitled to certain documents for his defence. In case such documents are available with the respondents the same may be provided to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of.
