This criminal appeal preferred under Section 374(2) of the Cr.P.C is against impugned judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 29.01.2018 passed in Sessions Trial No. 07/2016 by the learned Third Additional Sessions Judge, Surajpur (C.G.) whereby the appellants have been convicted and sentenced as under:- Conviction Sentence U/s 384 of IPC R.I. for 3 years and fine of Rs. 5,000/- U/s 8 of C.G. Vishesh Jan Suraksha Adhiniyam R.I. for 5 years and fine of Rs. 5,000/- U/s 25 (1-B) (B) of Arms Act R.I. for 3 years and fine of Rs. 5,000/- If fine not paid rigorous imprisonment of 3 months for each section 2. At the very outset, learned counsel appearing for the State by producing a copy of the communication dated 07.10.2025 sent by the Jail Superintendent, Central Jain, Ambikapur, Dist. Surguja would submit that all the accused persons/ appellants herein have completed the entire jail sentence imposed by the learned Trial Court and as such nothing remains in this appeal for adjudication. 3 CRA No. 1032 of 2018 Copy of the communication dated 07.10.2025 is taken on record. 3. At this juncture, learned counsel for the appellants submits that he does not want to press the present appeal. 4. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed as not pressed.
