This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the works, viz., (i) construction of CC road from Gumma Prasad House (H.No.7-662-K-23) to Chella Poorna Chandra Rao house (H.No.7-662-K-23-G5) in Ward No.23, vide agreement No.57/2023-24, dt.24.08.2023 and (ii) Construction of both side CC drain from Lakshmi Reddy house to Ideal College Road in Ward No.27, vide agreement No.146/2023-24, dt.04.01.2024, as entrusted by the 4th respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed all the works to the satisfaction of the 4th respondent, the competent authority recorded the progress of the work in the M Book and thereafter submitted respective final bills aggregating for a sum of 3 W.P. No.27869 OF 2025 Date of order: 13.10.2025 Rs.8,68,684/- and the 4th respondent approved the same, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner. 5. During the course of the hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 4th respondent does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioner with respect to the completion of the work undertaken. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2 and 4 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 8. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ JUSTICE HARINATH.N BV
