The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers :- "i) issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 26.11.2024 passed by Managing Director U.P. Power Corporation Ltd. 14, Ashok Marg, Lucknow / Respondent no. 2 (Annexure No. 5 to this writ petition). ii) issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Chairman U.P. Power Corporation Ltd. / respondent no. 3 to decide the Appeal of the petitioner dated 11.01.2025 within two months and within specific period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that ends of justice would be served in the event appeal filed by the petitioner on 11.1.2025 before the respondent no. 3 be decided in a time bound manner. 4. Learned counsel for respondent no. 3 submits that appeal of the petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that appeal of the petitioner pending before respondent No.3 be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 6.
