The petitioner had filed a departmental appeal against the order of penalty dated 26.11.2024 passed by the respondent No.2-Managing Director, U.P. Power Corporation Ltd., Lucknow. The said appeal has not been decided till date. The only prayer made by Shri R.K.Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the appeal of the petitioner dated 18.02.2025 may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Shri Abhishek Srivastava, learned counsel assisted by Ms.Kritika Sinha, learned counsel for the respondents No.2 and 3 does not have any objection to the prayer made by the petitioner. He submits that the appeal of the petitioner may be decided within a stipulated period of time. In wake of the submissions made at the Bar and without going into the merits of the case, the Chairman, U.P. Power Corporation Ltd, Lucknow/respondent No.3 is directed to decide the appeal of the petitioner dated 18.02.2025 as per law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
