When the matter was taken up for hearing, Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents, on written instructions, brought to the notice of this Court that after conducting a preliminary enquiry on the complaint made by the petitioner, the police have not registered any crime, as the allegation was found to be false. 4. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to avail his remedies before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
