The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No. 17/2013 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 04A/2013, for the offences registered under Sections 15, 18 & 22 of the N.D.P.S, 2023 and Section 33 of the Indian Forest Act, pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-II, Latehar. 3. On 17.02.2013, Balumath police, on the basis of confidential information, destructed poppy cultivation in the village Dakadari, Karmahi-Mudowa forest area. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of information given by the police informer. 5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.S.J.-II, Latehar in connection with Balumath P.S.
