Learned High Court Government Pleader submits that the petitioner is questioning the mutation order passed by the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar at Annexure-H without questioning the same by filing an appeal under Section 136(2) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964. 3. There is substance in the submission of the learned High Court Government Pleader. If the petitioner is aggrieved of an order passed by the respondent- Tahsildar invoking Sections 128 and 129 of the Act, the remedy available for the petitioner is to file an appeal - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:32935 WP No. 24092 of 2025 before the Assistant Commissioner under Section 136(2) of the Act. 4. Accordingly the writ petition stands disposed of while reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Assistant Commissioner. 5. Office is directed to return certified copies/original documents, if any, to the petitioner while retaining a copy of the same for the file. 6.
