GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction preferably in the nature of a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents especially respondent no.3 to 5 in opening and continuing the suspect sheet vide Suspect sheet no. 19 which is pending on the file of Respondent no.5 against the petitioner is as being illegal, arbitrary, unjust, colourable exercise of power and in violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently quash the suspect sheet no. 19 which was 2 opened against the petitioner and which was pending on the file of Respondent no.5.” 2. Heard Sri Shaik Omer Qaiyum, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, Suspect Sheet was opened against the Petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against him. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Suspect Sheet No.19 on the file of Chejarla Police Station, opened against the petitioner, is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
