GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declare the action of the respondents particularly 3rd respondents in forcibly obtaining signature on white papers and non- judicial stamp papers, insisting the petitioners to pay huge amounts to the 4th respondents, calling to their police station regularly, without registering any crime amounts to interfering into the peaceful living, liberty and livelihood of the petitioner, violative of provisions of Cr.P.C., and violative of Articles 14, 19 (i) (g), 21 of the Constitution of India consequently direct the respondents not to interfere into the peaceful living of the petitioners, his 2 family members and not call the petitioner to police station without registering crime.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint of Respondent No.4 herein, a case in Crime No.9 of 2022 on the file of Women Police Station, Anakapalli, Visakhapatnam District has been registered against the Petitioner herein and his family members and the Police are not interfering in the peaceful life and liberty of the Petitioner and his family members. 3. Sri K.L.N.Swamy, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed to follow due process of law with regard to the crime registered against the Petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
