The petitioner claims that he has participated in the sport of Hockey, which was organized by Hockey Andhra Pradesh as well as Hockey India. 2. HCJ & CGRJ WP_28522_2025 3. The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) has taken a stand that, participation of the petitioner was in March-April 2025, Hockey Andhra Pradesh has not yet applied for renewal of its recognition for the year 2025. r since the It is not denied that Hockey Andhra Pradesh was granted recognition in the year 2023 and was recognized for the year 2024 as well. Learned counsel representing respondent No.4 - Hockey Andhra Pradesh states that they are applying to the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh for formal recognition for the year 2025. If that be so, the consideration of the petitioner cannot be stalled at this stage, inasmuch as the process of grant of renewal of recognition may be only procedural in character. Any delay in applying for renewal of recognition by Hockey Andhra Pradesh, should not in our opinion cause prejudice to the interest of the petitioner, who seeks admission in a prestigious course like M.B.B.S. 4. 5. 6.
