GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No.3 in interfering with and harassing the Petitioner herein in relation to a property disputes and consequently threatening the Petitioner and his family members with dire consequences as illegal, without any authority of law, erroneous, arbitrary and violative of Articles 19 and 21 and 300-Aof the Indian Constitution and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent not to harass the Petitioner in relation to a property dispute among the family members.” 2 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, with regard to the case in Crime No.216 of 2024 for the offences under sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B read with 34 IPC on the file of Nandyal II Town UPS registered against the Petitioner, Police called him to the Police Station to enquire into the matter seeking production of some documents. Petitioner appeared before the Court along with his counsel and sought some time and filed the present Writ Petition. 3. Sri Varun Byreddy, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the Police to follow due process of law with regard to the crime registered against the Petitioner. 4. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed to follow due process of law regarding the crime registered against the Petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
