:: ORDER :: The above writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of respondent authorities in considering the representation dated 06.03.2025, made by the petitioner through the registered post, for mutation of tobacco barn ownership and grant of license for Tobacco sale, in pursuance of the proceedings issued by respondent No.5 vide Ref.F.No.1(33)C/2022-23/Pdn, dated 10.05.2024 and by complaining the requirements prescribed by respondent No.2 vide Circular F.No.1 (20)C/2023-24/Pdn, dated 01.12.2023, is illegal and arbitrary. Page 2 of 3 SRS,J W.P.No.11627 of 2025 Heard Sri V.V. Ravi Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Yagna Dutt, learned Central Government counsel, appeared for the respondents. 2. At the hearing,
learned counsel for the petitioner would confine his
arguments and urge to direct the respondent authorities to consider the representation dated 06.03.2025 (Ex.P7) made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.
3. Sri Yagna Dutt, learned Central Government counsel, would submit that respondent No.6 will consider the representation dated 06.03.2025 (Ex.P7) made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, within three (03) weeks.
4. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the learned counsel, directing the respondent No.6 to consider the representation dated 06.03.2025 (Ex.P7), made by the petitioner, strictly as per the law, within three (03) weeks. No order as to costs.
5. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
