The applicant by way of the instant application, seeks regular bail in connection with the FIR No.169/2024 for offences punishable under Sections 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at police station Crime Branch. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the case. He is a boy of 29 years of age and he himself is the victim of fraud at the instance of one of his close friends. 3. It is contended that, at best, the applicant can be attributed to transfer of amount of 5,93,681/- to which he was unaware. He submits that the investigation qua the applicant has been completed and the chargesheet against him has already been filed. He is in jail since 31.05.2025 and there is no criminal antecedents against him. This is a digitally signed order. Learned counsel appearing for the prosecution has opposed the said submissions. 5. I have heard the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the record. 6. It appears that during the investigation, a sum of Rs.5,93,681/- was transferred to the bank account owned by the petitioner. The said amount was withdrawn by the applicant. 7. The investigation qua the applicant is already completed and he has already suffered sufficient incarceration i.e. from 31.05.2025. There are no criminal antecedents against him. The trial will take sufficient time in its conclusion. 8. The applicant is, therefore, directed to be released on regular bail, subject to the conditions to be imposed by the trial Court. 9. The application is disposed of. 10. The spelling of the name of the applicant is Sreejith Rajendran instead of Shreejith Rajendran.
