GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in interfering with civil disputes as illegal arbitrary and violation of Article 14 19 21 and of the Constitution of India and against the principles of natural justice.” 2 2. Sri Satish Sandu, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that it is a case of interference of the Police in the civil disputes between the parties. 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint given by one Sudha Nagesh, the Petitioners were called to the Police Station for enquiry, however, no crime is registered against the Petitioners. It is further submitted that, since the enquiry reveals that this is a civil dispute between the parties, Police advised both parties to approach the appropriate forum. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the Police never interfered in the civil disputes between the parties. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to interfere with the civil disputes between the parties, except under due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
