Though the name of the petitioner finds place in the list maintained by Kanchipuram Bar Association, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent/Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, on verification, would submit that the petitioner is a registered voter before the Women Lawyers' Association, Chennai.
3. Hence, we do not find any infirmity or illegality in the impugned
order dated 16.04.2025, rejecting the petitioner's nomination on the ground that her name does not find place in the valid voters' list of Kanchipuram Bar Association, since she is a registered voter in the Women Lawyers' Association of Chennai.
4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
