THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO DIRECTING THE R2 TO PROVIDE LIGHT WORK TO THE PETITIONER PERMANENTLY IN THE R2 CORPORATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 20(4) OF THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT 2016 WITH PAY PROTECTION BY CONSIDERING THE REPRESENTATION DATED 29.09.2022 AT ANNEXURE-F.
THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING CONCIALIATION ORDER IS PASSED:
CONCILIATION ORDER
In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for providing light work to the petitioner permanently in the respondent No.2/Corporation in terms of Section 20(4) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 with pay protection by considering the representation dated 29.09.2022 vide Annexure - F.

2. After negotiations, the parties have arrived at settlement. Both the parties have filed a Joint Memo duly signed before the Lok Adalath. The said Joint Memo reads as follows:
1. The petitioners agreed to get themselves examined before the concerned jurisdictional medical board for assessment of percentage of disability and shall produce the disability certificate issued strictly in accordance with the guidelines in terms of the order of the High Court in Wp.No.7140/2023 Dated 27.7.2023 and WP.8271/2025 dated 27.3.2025, within a period of 2 months from today. 2. On such production of disability certificate, the Corporation has agreed to examine the claim of the petitioners for providing light duty in accordance with law. 3. The Corporation is at liberty to seek clarification/re-examination of the disability certificate from the concerned the Medical Board in the event it is required. 4
3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo dated 26.04.2025.

The WP is filed seeking to assign light duty to the petitioners, the writ petition has been settled between the parties on the following terms and conditions:
1. The petitioners agreed to get themselves examined before the concerned jurisdictional medical board for assessment of percentage of disability and shall produce the disability certificate issued strictly in accordance with the guidelines in terms of the order of the High Court in Wp.No.7140/2023 Dated 27.7.2023 and WP.8271/2025 dated 27.3.2025, within a period of 2 months from today. 2. On such production of disability certificate, the Corporation has agreed to examine the claim of the petitioners for providing light duty in accordance with law. 3.
