1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition on the following reliefs:
“10.1. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly
2 be pleased to issue a writ/s, order/s, direction/s to respondents to pay amount of compensation to the petitioner as per award dated 24.12.2021 (annexure P/1) alongwith interest as section 80 of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief which is deemed fit and proper in the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made various representations for payment of amount of compensation before respondents on 19.02.2025, 25.02.2025, 20.03.2025 and 22.07.2025 and till date no step have been taken to release the amount of compensation. He further prays for a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated
22.07.2025.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents raises no objection in this regard.
4. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties and perused the record with utmost circumspection.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and looking to the limited prayer of the petitioner, respondents are directed to
3 decide the representation dated 22.07.2025 of the petitioner in accordance with law, rules and regulations within a period of 45 days from today.
6. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present petition is
