HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM WRIT PETITION No.42685 OF 2017 ORDER:
The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following main prayer:
“to issue a writ order or direction more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering the petitioner's promotion to the post of Junior Assistant on par with the 4th respondent as bad, illegal, arbitrary, violation of Articles 14 & 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Junior Assistant w.e.f., March, 2013 by considering the representation dated: 01.10.2017 and by setting aside the promotion orders of the 4th respondent dated: 16.12.2012 and to grant all consequential service benefits and grant such other relief or relief's as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and to pass….”
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for 3rd respondent temple submits that the petitioner got promoted as Junior Assistant in the 3rd respondent temple way back and that the petitioner also rendered his services in the said post and superannuated on 31.05.2019. 4

In view of the submissions made by learned Standing Counsel coupled with the fact that the main prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is already fulfilled, the cause does not survive for further adjudication. 4. Hence, recording the submissions made by learned Standing Counsel for 3rd respondent temple, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
