ORDER 06-01-2025 Heard Mr. M. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.
2. The petitioner, namely, Tarik Anowar Hussain, son of Toffazol Hussain, resident of village-Fulerchar Part-2, Police Station-South Salmara, District- South Salmara, Mankachar, has filed this application under Section 483 BNSS seeking bail in South Salmara Police Station Case No.212/2024, registered under Sections 9/10/11 of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, read with Sections 6/17 of the POCSO Act, 2012, wherein he was arrested on 22.12.2024, and in custody since then.
3. On instruction of the petitioner, Mr. Ahmed, learned counsel prays for withdrawal of this bail application, to which, Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, has no objection.
4. Prayer is allowed.
5. Accordingly, this bail application stands dismissed, on withdrawal.
