GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue any writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus a) declaring the inaction of the respondents in not registering the crime basing on my report Dt. 10.10.205 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to register a crime basing on my report Dt.10.10.2025 b) Further direct Respondent No.2 i.e, the Superintendent of Police to monitor the investigation and ensure that it is conducted in accordance with law” 2 2. Heard Sri Y.Shashank, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the petitioner’s daughter came to the police station and stated that she had given a copy of the FIR and her certificates showing that she is a major, and that she had voluntarily left with one Harish and they got married. Therefore, the police have not registered any crime, as no offence is made out. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
