GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 19030/2024 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents Nos.4 and 7 in interfering with the petitioners life and liberty and calling the petitioners to the police station regularly without there being any crime registered against them and threatening them to settle the civil matter pending before the Civil Court, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India apart from being violative of Principles of Natural Justice.…” 2. None represented for the petitioners. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, would submit that the respondent police are not calling the petitioners to the police station and they are not interfering in the civil disputes between the petitioners and the unofficial respondents. 4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to call the petitioners to the police station without there being any crime registered against them and further directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties, except under due process of law.
