Hon’ble Subhash Upadhyay, J. Mr. Prashant Khanna, learned counsel for the writ petitioner. 2. Mr. K.N.Joshi, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State. 3. Petitioner retired from the post of Principal, Inter College, Balawal, Dehradun on 31.03.2013. According to him, as per Government Order dated 28.12.2018, he is entitled to certain benefits which were not given to him. 4. Learned State counsel Mr. K.N.Joshi, disputes the claim made by the petitioner for benefit of the G.O. dated 28.12.2018 on the ground that petitioner was never appointed as regular Principal; he was given officiating charge as Principal for some time.. 5. Be that as it may, since petitioner sought a writ of mandamus and he has also made a representation claiming for the benefit of G.O. dated 28.12.2018, therefore, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction that if the petitioner makes a fresh representation to the Director, Secondary Education, within three weeks from today, the concerned Director shall look into the matter and take a decision as per applicable policy, within six months from the date of 2025:UHC:4741-DB representation 6.
