He further submits that the case of the petitioner is at par with them. The petitioner was arrested in the present case on 09.06.2024 and is in custody for the last almost one year. 3. On the other hand, learned State counsel assisted by learned counsel for the complainant have vehemently opposed the submissions made by
learned counsel for the petitioner on the ground that serious allegations have been levelled against the present petitioner and he does not deserve the concession of bail by this Court. However, he could not dispute the fact that other similarly placed co-accused have been granted the concession bail by this Court.
4. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the record carefully.
5. In the present case, the petitioner is stated to be in custody for the last almost one year. Similarly placed co-accused namely Seema @ Preet, Kuldeep Kaur and Ranjeet Singh, have already been granted the concession of bail by this Court vide orders Annexures P-2 and P-3 respectively. Thus, the conclusion of the trial may take quite a long time and further custody of the petitioner will not serve any meaningful purpose.
6. Without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail pending trial on her furnishing bail bonds and surety to the satisfaction of the concerned trial Court/ Duty Magistrate/Chief Judicial Magistrate. 26.05.2025
