(2) Petitioner no. 8 in WPSB/418/2018, petitioner no. 1 in WPSB/461/2018 and petitioner no. 4 in WPSB/469/2018 have moved applications seeking to withdraw from their respective writ petition. Accordingly, WPSB/418/2018 is dismissed as withdrawn in respect of petitioner no. 8, WPSB/461/2018 is dismissed as withdrawn in respect of petitioner no. 1 and WPSB/469/2018 is dismissed as withdrawn in relation to petitioner no. 4. Applications made therefor stand disposed of. (3) Since common questions of fact and law are involved in these writ petitions, these are being disposed of by this common
order. (4) According to petitioners, they were selected for appointment, on contract, as Teacher in Doon Medical College by Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board and they are continuously serving as such in Doon Medical College for the last several years. According to petitioners, they are fully qualified for appointment as Teacher and now they have also earned wide experience of performing teaching job. (5)
Learned Counsel for the petitioners relied upon the Regularisation Rules, 2013, framed by the State Government, and contended that all the petitioners have earned right to be considered for regularisation under the said rules. (6) Learned State Counsel fairly submits that if petitioners have any grievance regarding non-consideration of their name for regularisation, they can approach the competent authority by making their representation. (7) We, accordingly, dispose of these writ petitions by permitting the petitioners to move representation claiming regularisation. If petitioners move representation within three weeks, competent authority shall consider the same and take decision, as per law, within four months thereafter. It shall be open to the petitioners to raise all the grievances in their representation.
