The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following relief:- 10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to call the records pertaining to the petitioner' case. 10.2 That the Hon'ble court may be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authority to issue Permanent Social Status Certificate (Caste Certificate) to the petitioner’s Children, under the Chhattisgarh Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Digitally signed by JYOTI JHA Date: 2025.10.16 12:36:00 +0530 2 Backward Classes (Regulation of Social Status Certification), Rules 2013. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner belongs to Schedule Caste "Mahar" and petitioner children's wants to get the benefit of caste in the Chhattisgarh, the petitioner preferred online application No. 0704012301005284 & 0704012301005284 before competent caste certificate issuing authority S.D.O. (Revenue) Raipur district Raipur on 05/08/2023. The petitioner has also filed the relevant document application, affidavit with Inability Memo. The petitioner has brought this instant petition against the action of the respondent competent authority that the petitioner has sought documents before the year 1950, in which caste is mentioned, for issuance of permanent social status certificate. Therefore he prays for a direction to decide the application which is pending before the SDO( R) dated 05.08.2023. 4. Learned counsel for respondents submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioner seeking direction to respondent-authorities to consider the pending application, she is having no objection to the limited prayer and his pending online application will be decided in accordance with law. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case instead of keeping this petition pending, I find it appropriate to dispose of the same at this stage directing the respondent No. 2 to decide the online application No. 0704012301005284 & 0704012301005284 dated 05.08.2023 of the petitioner in accordance with law/rules/regulations as expeditiously 3 as possible in an objective manner within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7.
